What a perfect combo of words. If our guys were going to have a hangout--especially the younger gamer types--wouldn't you picture them on a platform like Discord? Started mid-October, we already have a lively membership of over 50, and growing daily! Why did we open up another social platform, you ask? Several reasons. Firstly, the unstable social media landscape of Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter have led us to believe that while we need to be active on those platforms (we love seeing you there!), we can't trust that they will always allow us to interact with you the way we'd like. If they were to change their features at any point and get rid of groups, or decide to follow a different model, we'd lose our ability to interact at all. Yeah. The thought gave us the creeps too.
